Application


NADP is a coenzyme, which is formed by niacinamide adenine dinucleotide and phosphate molecule through an ester bond. It exists widely in the biological world and can be used for reduction reaction. It’s also a major component in various diagnosis kit, especially enzyme activity assays.



Technical principles


NADP is a coenzyme of dehydrogenase, and acts as a hydrogen acceptor in the reaction process. It accepts hydrogen through chemical osmotic coupling in the electron transport chain and reduces it self to NADPH.
