Product description


The FS Hot start Plus Taq DNA Polymerase (Antibody modified) is a rapid amplification Taq DNA polymerase developed by our company, which tightly blocks 5’→3’ polymerase activity and 5’→3’ exonuclease activity at room temperature. This product utilizes the Whole-Block Taq antibody to block both the 5’→ 3’ polymerase activity and 5’ → 3’ exonuclease activity, making it suitable for use in pre-mixed reagents with multiple primers and probes. It can prevent nonspecific amplification, as well as the loss of nonspecific signals and amplification efficiency due to degradation of primers, probes, or other critical components, thereby ensuring the stability of amplification reagents on two fronts. This product can be rapidly activated by heating at 95°C for 30 seconds, which fully releases the activity. It is suitable for fast PCR or multiplex quantitative PCR detection using DNA as the template. This product supports pre-mixing of primers and probes. This product exhibits high specificity and it is suitable for rapid PCR reactions. It can significantly shorten the PCR reaction time, enhance the efficiency of PCR amplification and is compatible with different PCR procedures.

Unit definition


One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will incorporate 10 nmol of dNTP into DNA in 30 minutes at 72°C with M13 mp18 Single Strand DNA (Virion DNA) as template / primer.



Quality control


• Endonuclease Activity: Incubation of 5 U of enzyme with 1 μg λ DNA for 16 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• Exonuclease Activity: Incubation of 5 U of enzyme with 1 μg λ-Hind III digest DNA for 16 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• Nickase Activity: Incubation of 5 U of enzyme with 1 μg pBR322 for 16 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• RNase Activity: Incubation of 5 U of enzyme with 1.6 μg MS2 RNA for 4 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the RNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

E. coli DNA: 5 U of enzyme is detected by TaqMan qPCR with E. coli 16s rDNA specificity. The E. coli DNA is < 1 copy.

Note: 1. Please conduct a preliminary experiment to confirm whether the Real Time PCR instrument used supports rapid amplification cycles during the initial attempt.

2. The amplification reaction temperature can be adjusted according to the primer Tm value.
