Product Overview

Triglycerides (TG) are quantified through an enzymatic cascade system initiated by lipoprotein lipase (LPL). LPL catalyzes the hydrolysis of triglycerides into glycerol and free fatty acids, serving as the rate-determining step of the assay system. The generated glycerol is subsequently processed through enzymatic reactions involving glycerol kinase (GK) and glycerol-3-phosphate oxidase (GPO), producing hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂), which is converted into a measurable signal in the presence of peroxidase (POD).

Applications
