Taq DNA polymerase is a heat-resistant DNA polymerase derived from Thermus aquaticus YT-1, which has 5'-3' polymerase activity and 5'-3' exonuclease activity. The enzyme uses antibody modification to block the activity at low temperature and room temperature, and after heated at 95℃, the antibody sheds and releases the enzyme activity. From the preparation of amplification system to PCR amplification, non-specific amplification due to mismatching of primers is not generated, which minimizes the non-specific amplification products and the formation of primer dimers, and improves the sensitivity and specificity of amplification.
