Cardia-cspecific creatine kinase-MB isoenzyme (CK-MB) is a heterodimer composed of M and B subunits and represents the most specific enzyme in the cardiac enzyme panel. An elevation of serum CK-MB activity is widely recognized as a key diagnostic marker for acute myocardial infarction and for confirming the presence of myocardial necrosis, and it is regarded as the "Gold Standard" in cardiac enzymology. This biomarker can be used for the early diagnosis of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PDH) serves as a critical raw material for assays measuring glucose (GLU), creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase MB isoenzyme (CKMB), carbon dioxide, and other analytes; it also functions as an internal control enzyme reference for HCY and liver function assay kits. This product is a recombinant G6PDH, produced via high-density microbial fermentation followed by column chromatographic purification, manufactured on an industrial scale with consistently stable supply. It remains stable across a pH range of 5.0-9.5 and exhibits excellent compatibility with various assay systems. Its outstanding thermal stability makes it well suited for long-term storage of liquid reagents. With a protein purity ≥90% and rigorously controlled batch-to-batch impurity levels, HH0601 is compatible with CK reagents, CKMB reagents, glucose (HK method) reagents, and CO2reagents, delivering superior assay performance. Applications


Cardiac enzyme assays:


G6PDH compatible hexokinase (HH0705) and CKMM antibody (HH0805) are used for the development and largescale preparation of creatine kinase (CK) and creatine kinase isoenzyme CK-MB reagents (immunoinhibition method).


Blood glucose assays:


G6PDH compatible hexokinase (HH0705) is employed in the development and largescale formulation of glucose (GLU) assay reagents.


Carbon dioxide assays:


G6PDH, together with glucose, ATP, HK (HH0705), PEPC (HH1902), and MDH (HH1802), is used to construct an NADH regeneration system for the development and largescale preparation of COassay reagents.



Reaction Principle


The amount of NADH produced in the reaction can be measured using a spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 340nm. One unit of enzyme activity is defined as the amount of enzyme required to generate 1μmol of NADH per minute under reaction conditions of pH7.8 and 37°C.
