Product Overview


Glycerol kinase (GK) is the core rate-limiting enzyme for enzymatic triglyceride (TG) detection, catalyzing ATP-dependent glycerol phosphorylation to connect downstream reaction of LPL hydrolysis, which determines low-value detection accuracy of TG reagents. This recombinant modified enzyme has dry powder specific activity ≥40 U/mg and protein purity ≥90%, with ultra-wide pH stability of 4.5-10.0 and excellent thermal stability below 65°C. Optimized substrate Km value reduces endogenous serum glycerol background interference, with strict contaminant control. It achieves perfect compatibility with HH1008 and HH1103-R2, suitable for global biochemical analyzers and dual-formula lipid diagnostic reagent development. It owns low batch-to-batch variation and outstanding on-board open-bottle stability, ideal for reagent mass production and cross-border storage in high-temperature areas.

Lipid profile testing—triglyceride assay: The core reagents are the accompanying G3PO (HH1103R2) and LPL (HH1008), which are used for the development and large-scale preparation of triglyceride assay kits.



Reaction Principle



One unit of enzyme activity is defined as the amount of enzyme required to catalyze the consumption of 1 μmol of glycerol per minute under conditions of pH 7.9 and 37°C.
