Product Overview

AMPPD is a chemiluminescent substrate for alkaline phosphatase (ALP). In a suitable buffer, it is hydrolyzed under enzymatic catalysis to form AMP-D, which emits strong luminescent signals. The luminescence rate is correlated with the concentration of ALP. When ALP is conjugated to hybridization probes, this system can be used to quantify hybridized molecules.

Key Features

Sensitive Detection

Capable of detecting ALP concentrations below 10¹ mol/mL and target proteins at levels as low as 5 pg, supporting applications requiring high analytical sensitivity.

Stable Signal Output

Provides a stable luminescent plateau for up to 60 minutes, allowing flexible signal acquisition and compatibility with various detection workflows.

Broad Linear Range

Demonstrates a strong linear relationship between ALP concentrations ranging from 50 to 50,000 pg/mL and photon counts, supporting quantitative analysis across a wide dynamic range.

Good Storage Stability

Stable for up to 2 years when stored at 2–8°C protected from light, facilitating routine use and inventory management.

Compatible with ALP-Based Detection Systems

Designed for use in alkaline phosphatase-labeled assays, including applications involving ALP-conjugated probes and detection reagents.

Applications

ALP-Based Chemiluminescent Detection

Suitable for chemiluminescent assays utilizing alkaline phosphatase as the reporter enzyme, enabling sensitive signal generation.

Immunodiagnostic Assays

Applicable to a variety of immunodiagnostic testing formats based on ALP labeling.

Nucleic Acid Hybridization Assays

Can be used with ALP-conjugated hybridization probes to quantify hybridized nucleic acid targets.

Molecular Biology Research

Suitable for molecular biology applications requiring chemiluminescent detection, including enzyme activity studies and analytical assays.
