ClinAmp Taq DNA Polymerase (Antibody modified) V1 is a hot-start Taq DNA polymerase developed by our company. The activity of antibody-modified Taq DNA polymerase is blocked at room temperature and released after heated at 95°C. This product exhibits excellent inhibitor tolerance and demonstrates significantly improved amplification efficiency, making it suitable for a variety of detection scenarios. Its rapid amplification capability shortens reaction time, making it applicable for rapid PCR systems.

Unit definition


One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will incorporate 10 nmol of dNTP into DNA in 30 minutes at 72°C with M13 mp18 Single Strand DNA (Virion DNA) as template / primer.



Quality control


• Endonuclease Activity: Incubation of 5 U of enzyme with 1 μg λ DNA for 16 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• Exonuclease Activity: Incubation of 5 U of enzyme with 1 μg λ-Hind III digest DNA for 16 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• Nickase Activity: Incubation of 5 U of enzyme with 1 μg pBR322 for 16 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• RNase Activity: Incubation of 5 U of enzyme with 1.6 μg MS2 RNA for 4 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the RNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

E. coli DNA: 5 U of enzyme is detected by TaqMan qPCR with E. coli 16s rDNA specificity. The E. coli DNA is < 1 copy.

A. The reaction Buffer contains no Mg2+.

B.The optimal reaction concentration of different templates is different, the recommended concentration for genome DNA and plasmid DNA are 1ng~1ug and 1pg-1ng respectively.

A. The above is a standard PCR procedure. If the client needs rapid amplification. The time of denaturation, annealing and extension of the amplification procedure can be shortened and optimized, and the number of cycles can also be reduced appropriately.

B. The anneal temperature needs to be adjusted according to the Tm value of the primer, which is generally set to be 3 ~ 5 ° C lower than Tm value of the primer.

C. For PCR reactions with products within 1 kb, the extension time can be set to 10-15 s, above 1 kb can extend the extension time to 30 s/kb.
