Product Overview


eGFP mRNA is an in vitro transcribed messenger RNA encoding enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP), a widely used fluorescent reporter protein for monitoring gene expression and protein localization in living cells.


EGFP is an optimized variant of green fluorescent protein (GFP) with an excitation wavelength of 488 nm and an emission wavelength of 507 nm. Compared with conventional GFP, EGFP exhibits significantly enhanced fluorescence intensity, enabling sensitive and direct visualization of protein expression through fluorescence microscopy without additional substrates or cell disruption.


This product is synthesized by in vitro co-transcriptional capping technology and purified through precipitation and desalting processes. With a theoretical length of approximately 997 nt, eGFP mRNA enables efficient protein translation in mammalian eukaryotic cells and serves as a reliable reporter molecule for cell-based research applications.
