Product Overview

Alkaline phosphatases are a group of non-specific hydrolytic enzymes with high catalytic activity under alkaline conditions, capable of catalyzing the hydrolysis of almost all phosphomonoesterases to orthophosphate and its counterparts such as alcohols, phenols and sugars. Alkaline phosphatase from bovine small intestine is a homodimer with high enzyme activity and good thermal stability. Suitable for various immunological applications, including chemiluminescence, ELISA, Western blot and immunohistochemistry.

Key Features

High Specific Activity

Exhibits high enzymatic activity under alkaline conditions, supporting efficient signal generation in immunoassay applications.

Sensitive Signal Detection

Provides a high signal-to-background ratio with low background luminescence, enabling reliable detection across a range of assay formats.

Good Stability

Demonstrates stable performance under recommended storage and accelerated stability conditions, supporting consistent assay performance over time.

Consistent Batch Performance

Manufactured under controlled production processes to ensure batch-to-batch consistency, with variation maintained within established quality specifications.

Hypoglycosylated Format

Produced as a hypoglycosylated alkaline phosphatase, providing an alternative enzyme format for customers evaluating different assay development requirements.

If you have data demonstrating advantages related to reduced glycosylation (e.g., conjugation efficiency or assay optimization), this section can be further refined accordingly.

Applications

Chemiluminescent Immunoassays

Suitable for use in chemiluminescent detection platforms utilizing alkaline phosphatase-based signal generation.

ELISA

Applicable to enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) for antigen and antibody detection.

Western Blotting

Can be used in Western blot applications employing alkaline phosphatase-conjugated detection reagents.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

Suitable for immunohistochemical staining workflows requiring enzymatic signal development.
