Product Overview

Streptavidin-Horseradish Peroxidase Conjugate (SA-HRP) is obtained by crosslinking Streptavidin (SA) and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP). It is applicable for the detection of biotinylated samples including antibodies, proteins, tissues, cells, and nucleic acids. Often used as a signal amplifier to enhance detection sensitivity, it is widely employed in molecular biology, biochemistry, immunology, and other related fields.

This product uses recombinant Streptavidin (SA) with a molecular weight of approximately 53.2 kDa. Structurally, it removes sequences unrelated to activity, retaining only the active core sequences. It outperforms natural SA in stability, solubility, and other aspects. Existing as a homotetramer, each mole of the tetramer can bind to four moles of biotin molecules. The Horseradish Peroxidase is recombinantly expressed, featuring high purity and high activity.

Key Features

Controlled batch-to-batch consistency

Batch variation is controlled within ±10% across three production batches under standard testing conditions.

Low non-specific binding background

Designed to minimize non-specific adsorption, helping to reduce background signal in common assay formats.

Good stability

Maintains over 90% signal retention after a 7-day accelerated stability test at 37 °C under defined conditions.

Broad assay compatibility

Suitable for multiple biotin–streptavidin-based detection platforms, including ELISA, Western Blot, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and protein microarray applications.

Applications

Chemiluminescence immunoassay (CLIA)

Used as a signal amplification reagent in biotin-based chemiluminescent immunoassays to support sensitive detection of target analytes.

ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay)

Applicable in biotin-streptavidin ELISA systems for detection of antigens or antibodies with HRP-based signal development.

Western Blot (WB)

Used for detection of biotinylated proteins or antibodies on membranes, supporting chemiluminescent or colorimetric readout systems.

Flow Cytometry (FC)

Applicable in biotin-labeled antibody detection workflows for cell surface or intracellular marker analysis.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC)

Used in tissue-based detection systems to visualize biotinylated targets with HRP-mediated signal development.

In Situ Hybridization (ISH)

Suitable for nucleic acid detection applications using biotin-labeled probes in histological samples.

Protein microarray

Used in high-throughput protein interaction or expression analysis based on biotin–streptavidin detection systems.

Performance Data

The between-batch variation of three batches is controlled within ±10%

Note: PCT assay tested by two-step chemiluminescence method.

Consistent with Brand B: The overall luminescence values of calibrators are identical

Signal retention rate exceeds 90% after 7-day accelerated test at 37 °C

FAQ

What are the recommended storage conditions and shelf life of this product?

Store at -20 °C and protect from light. Keep the product tightly sealed to avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles and maintain performance stability.

What is the recommended usage or dosage for this product?

Recommended working dilutions vary depending on the application:

• Western Blot (WB): 1:5,000–1:20,000

• ELISA: 1:5,000–1:20,000

• IHC/ICC: 1:500–1:2,000

• EMSA: 1:5,000–1:15,000
Optimization is recommended based on specific experimental conditions.

Do you provide OEM or private-label manufacturing services?

Yes, OEM and private-label services are available upon request.
