Applications

The kit is used for determining the activity of adenosine deaminase (ADA) in human serum or plasma in vitro.
Adenosine deaminase (ADA) is an important enzyme in human purine nucleotide metabolism. It is found in serum
ADA mainly comes from liver, which is a sensitive indicator of liver injury and can be used as a routine of liver function.
One of the examination items reflects the degree of hepatocyte injury and recovery according to the increase or decrease of enzyme activity.
The ADA activity of erythrocytes in patients with chronic hemolysis increased significantly. In serum and tissue of tumor patients ADA activity increased; CSF-ADA was significantly increased in patients with tuberculous meningitis.

Principle

Storage conditions and validity period 

The unopened reagent is stored at 2 ~ 8 ℃ in light for 12 months. After unsealing, the reagent is stored in 2-8 ℃ under light protection, and the validity period is 1 month under the condition of no pollution. The reagent must not be frozen.

Warnings and precautions 

1. The reagent contains Proclin300 preservative to avoid contact with skin and mucosa. Necessary preventive measures should be taken to use reagents. If the reagents come into contact with skin and mucosa, please rinse with water and seek medical treatment if necessary.
2. The upper linear limit of this method is 200U/L. If the measured value of the sample exceeds the upper limit, dilute it with 0.9% sodium chloride solution and then measure it. The result is multiplied by the dilution multiple.
3. Waste liquid treatment: It is suggested to refer to the requirements of various local laws and regulations.
