Product Overview


Fluc mRNA (modified) is a chemically modified messenger RNA encoding firefly luciferase, designed for enhanced translation performance and reduced innate immune activation in mammalian cells.


By incorporating N1-methylpseudouridine (N1-Me-pUTP) into the RNA sequence, this modified FLuc mRNA improves cellular translation efficiency and supports stronger protein expression compared with conventional unmodified mRNA.


Following transfection, the encoded firefly luciferase protein catalyzes luciferin oxidation to generate bioluminescent signals, enabling rapid and quantitative assessment of mRNA delivery, translation activity, and expression kinetics.


Fluc mRNA (modified) is synthesized through in vitro co-transcriptional capping technology, followed by precipitation and desalting purification. With a theoretical length of 1,908 nt, it provides stable and efficient protein expression in mammalian eukaryotic cells.
