Hzymes’ double stranded RNA (dsRNA) ELISA kit is a Sandwich ELISA assay coupling with biotin-Streptavidin system, for quantitative measurement of dsRNA with length above 40 bp, regardless of sequence.

Performance Data

Excellent anti-interference performance: in the presence of common IVT enzymes, such as T7 RNA polymerase, and ionic buffer, the spike recovery rate keeps 80-120%.

Good data repeatability: the coefficient variation (CV) between different multiples of dilution in one assay is <10%, CV between different assays for the same sample using kits of different batches is <15%.

High specificity: Hzymes dsRNA ELISA kit recognizes dsRNA specifically, and shows no cross reactivity with ssRNA, ssDNA or dsDNA.

FAQ

Which antibodies are used? Is it J2 based?

The antibodies used in Hzymes dsRNA ELISA kit are company-selected, not J2. The capture antibody A5 (mouse IgG2a monoclonal antibody) is used for coating the plate, and the detection antibody is H5 (mouse IgG2b monoclonal antibody).

What is the size of the dsRNA standard?

All of the four standards contained in the kit share one same sequence, and the length is 300 bp.

How are the standards synthesized?

Firstly, two complete complementary ssRNA strands were synthesized by IVT, respectively. Then, the two ssRNA strands were annealed to form dsRNA. Finally, dsRNA was purified by removing the DNA template, ssRNA and enzymes, etc.

Is this kit GMP grade or for research use only?

This kit is for research use only, but has successfully been used for several IND application cases in both China and United States.
