Cre mRNA (modified) encodes Cre recombinase, a site-specific DNA recombinase derived from bacteriophage P1. By specifically recognizing loxP sites, Cre recombinase enables targeted DNA recombination events, including deletion, inversion, and translocation of DNA fragments flanked by loxP sequences.


The Cre-loxP system is a powerful genetic engineering tool widely used for conditional gene regulation, inducible gene knockout, lineage tracing, and construction of genetically modified animal models.


This product is an N1-methylpseudouridine (N1-Me-pUTP) modified mRNA synthesized through in vitro co-transcriptional capping and purified using precipitation and desalting technologies.
