Product Description

Taq antibody V2 is a product developed by our company specifically designed to block the activity of Taq DNA polymerase and its mutants. When Taq antibody V2 binds to Taq DNA polymerase, it inhibits the activity of the polymerase, thereby suppressing nonspecific amplification caused by nonspecific primer annealing or primer dimers under low temperature conditions. The antibody-modified Taq allows for rapid hot-start PCR, fully releasing DNA polymerase activity within 10 seconds at 95°C. This product significantly enhances amplification specificity and detection sensitivity during PCR. No special inactivation treatment is required for the antibody, making it compatible with existing PCR reaction condition.

Precaution

• Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and wear gloves during operation.

• Due to differences in the specific activity of different Taq DNA polymerase, the blocking ratio can be adjusted appropriately, with a blocking efficiency of over 95% being preferable.
