CDP-Star chemiluminescent substrate enables sensitive, rapid and user-friendly detection of alkaline phosphatase and ALP-labeled molecules. Combining low background luminescence with high luminous output, it facilitates the detection of ALP conjugates with outstanding sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio.

Thanks to the above advantages, this substrate delivers superior sensitivity in membrane-based applications including Southern, Northern and Western blot assays. It is also compatible with solution-phase assays such as immunoassays, DNA probe assays, enzymatic tests and reporter gene assays. The maximum luminescence intensity is achieved within approximately 10 minutes, and persistent light emission can last for several hours."
