Product Overview

As a luminescent substrate, APS5 features high detection sensitivity and short reaction time. When mixed with alkaline phosphatase (ALP), the substrate is immediately decomposed to release photons after ALP hydrolyzes the phosphate group. Within a certain concentration range of alkaline phosphatase, the number of released photons is proportional to the concentration of alkaline phosphatase in the solution. It can be used for quantitative detection of alkaline phosphatase and in chemiluminescence detection kits for antigen and antibody assays.

Key Features

Low Background Signal

Generates low background luminescence, helping improve signal discrimination in ALP-based detection assays.

Rapid Signal Generation

Produces chemiluminescent signals rapidly upon ALP catalysis, reaching peak luminescence within approximately 10 seconds, with stable signal output maintained for up to 5 minutes.

Sensitive Detection

Capable of detecting ALP concentrations below 10¹ mol/mL and target proteins at levels as low as 5 pg, supporting applications requiring high analytical sensitivity.

Stable Luminescent Performance

Maintains consistent luminescent behavior within the operating temperature range of 25–35°C, supporting reliable signal acquisition under routine assay conditions.

Suitable for Quantitative Analysis

Within the validated concentration range, the emitted photon counts are proportional to ALP concentration, enabling quantitative detection of ALP activity.

Applications

ALP-Based Chemiluminescent Detection

Suitable for chemiluminescent assays utilizing alkaline phosphatase as the reporter enzyme, enabling sensitive signal generation and quantitative analysis.

Immunodiagnostic Assays

Applicable to antigen and antibody detection assays based on ALP-labeled systems.

Quantification of Alkaline Phosphatase Activity

Can be used for the quantitative detection of alkaline phosphatase activity in research and assay development applications.

Molecular Biology and Enzyme Activity Analysis

Suitable for molecular biology studies and enzyme activity assays requiring chemiluminescent detection.

Performance Data

Low Background and Ultra-High Signal-to-Noise Ratio

Compared with similar products from other manufacturers, Hzymes APS-5 luminescent reagent has obvious advantages such as lower background and higher signal-to-noise ratio.

Excellent Thermal Stability and Photostability

After exposure to fluorescent light for 5 minutes, Hzymes APS-5 still maintains stable luminescence for 7 minutes.

After thermal acceleration at 37°C for 7 days, the luminescence value of APS-5 changes by 10%.

Enhanced Reagent Stability

Average luminescence values (RUL) under multiple rounds of testing were measured at 2‒8°C, 25°C, and 30°C respectively. After 28 days of storage, the luminescence value decreased by ≤8%, demonstrating excellent storage stability of the product.

High Detection Repeatability and Batch Consistency

Repeat testing and batch-to-batch variation tests were performed on Hzymes APS-5 chemiluminescent substrate solution. The CV < 3%, indicating that Hzymes APS-5 has excellent detection repeatability.

Test conditions: 5 μL enzymes + 150 μL substrate solution, enzyme activity 0.07 MU. All data were collected on a LUMI STATION 1800 instrument.
