Product Overview


mCherry mRNA (modified) encodes mCherry red fluorescent protein, a highly optimized fluorescent reporter derived from coral-derived DsRed variants. With rapid maturation, strong fluorescence intensity, and excellent photostability, mCherry is widely used for real-time monitoring of gene expression, protein localization, and mRNA delivery performance.


The encoded mCherry protein has a maximum excitation wavelength of approximately 587 nm and maximum emission wavelength of approximately 610 nm, generating a bright red fluorescence signal that can be clearly distinguished from GFP and YFP signals. This makes it particularly suitable for multicolor fluorescence imaging and multiplexed reporter assays.


This product is an N1-Me-pUTP modified mCherry mRNA synthesized through in vitro co-transcriptional capping (IVT). The incorporation of modified nucleotides enhances mRNA stability, improves translation efficiency, and helps reduce innate immune recognition. The product is purified through precipitation and desalting processes, with a theoretical length of 997 nt, providing sustained protein expression in mammalian cells.
