Product description


WS HC HHRevScript Reverse TranscriptaseⅡ(Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus) is a hot-start version obtained through reversible modification technology. It can inhibit enzyme activity at room temperature, allowing for room temperature operations and reaction setup. This prevents nonspecific amplification and increases reaction efficiency. Additionally, the enzyme activity can be released at 55°C, without a separate activation step. This product offers enhanced temperature tolerance, stability, and reverse. The WS HC HHRevScript Reverse Transcriptase Ⅱ is particularly well-suited for one-step RT-qPCR reactions and complete premixed reagents for RNA.

Unit definition


One unit incorporates 1 nmol of dTTP into acid-precipitable material in 10 minutes at 37°C using poly(A)•oligo(dT) as template-primer.



Quality control


• Protein Purity (SDS-PAGE): The enzyme is ≥ 98% pure as determined by SDS-PAGE analysis.

• Endonuclease Activity: Incubation of 200 U of enzyme with 1 μg λ DNA for 16 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• Exonuclease Activity: Incubation of 200 U of enzyme with 1 μg λ-Hind III digest DNA for 16 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• Nickase Activity: Incubation of 200 U of enzyme with 1 μg pBR322 for 4 hours at 37°C resulted in no detectable degradation of the DNA as determined by gel electrophoresis.

• RNase Activity: 200 U of the enzyme with 1.6 μg MS2 RNA for 16 hours at 37°C yields no degradation as determined by agarose gel electrophoresis.

E.coli DNA: 200 U of the enzyme is detected by TaqMan qPCR. The E.coli DNA is < 1 copy.

Usage note


1) To avoid RNase contamination, please keep the experimental area clean, and wear clean gloves and masks during operation. Consumables such as centrifuge tubes and pipette tips used in the experiment must be RNase-free.

2) The cDNA product can be stored at -25~-15℃ or -80℃ or used in PCR( qPCR) reaction immediately.

3) It is recommended that the volume of cDNA product used in PCR reaction should not exceed 1/10 of the volume of PCR(qPCR) reaction.
